Now that the instruments are packed, the lights dimmed, and only the memories remain from Heifetz 2025, we’re excited to share the incredible results of our Week Six Challenge.

For the first five weeks of the summer, we keep the focus solely on the music—a gift to our audiences, patrons, and community. Our musical community of 40 staff members, 76 faculty, and 156 students from around the world presented 354 pieces performed across 49 concerts, in addition to 5 special events and 12 community outreach programs. But when Week Six arrives, our supporters know it’s time to rally. We make an all-out push to raise vital funds while the Institute powers through its exhilarating final days.

And what a finish it was.

Not only did our last week feature some of the finest performances of the season—including a truly awe-inspiring Grand Finale—but our supporters rose to the challenge in remarkable fashion. Spurred on by a generous $25,000 matching challenge from a Heifetz board member, we finished the season with:
– $44,355 raised from the Heifetz community—patrons, parents, alumni, YouTube viewers, and faculty
– 86 total contributions, including 30 first-time donors
– Nearly $16,000 from parents of our students and alumni
– An additional $25,000 contributed from other members of the Heifetz Board of Directors

Taken together—including our board challenge, the board match, and the community match—we raised nearly $100,000. Your generosity made all of this possible. Together, we not only celebrated the joy of music-making but also ensured that the Heifetz Institute can continue to inspire, uplift, and transform—on stage and beyond.
