Our Video of the Week is the first of our Virtual Heifetz era, with our Artistic Director Nicholas Kitchen modeling the way. As part of a step-by-step three-part demonstration of what Nick describes as “checkerboard chamber music,” he shows how to create and record a nuanced recording with long-distance colleagues. Or in Nick’s case, colleagues as close as your own home! He plays all three parts – two violins and viola – in the second movement (“Larghetto”) of the charming Terzetto, Op. 74 in C major by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.
