The title of this program is also the title of our signature concert series at the Heifetz Institute!  Our 2023 Stars of Tomorrow Concerts will take place on Monday and Wednesday nights during the course of the Institute, in the ‘friendly confines’ of Francis Auditorium, on the campus of Mary Baldwin University.   Tickets & Info

Two out of three ain’t bad! In the spring of 2023 the venerable Boston Symphony Orchestra announced the hiring of three new members – two of whom are Heifetz Institute alums! Cellist Christine J. Lee, (Heifetz 2016) featured in this episode, joins fellow Heifetz alum Roric Cunningham (Heifez 2020 & 2021) in the BSO cello section starting with the orchestra’s summer season at Tanglewood.

Violinist Corina Deng, one of this episode’s featured performers, first came to the Heifetz Institute at the age of 10, and is becoming one of the great young emerging artists from Canada.  Now 15 years old, Corina was a competitior in the Yehudi Menuhin competition in Richmond, VA in 2021, and in the spring of 2023 at the special Mini Violini presentation at the Montreal International Violin Competition.
