The Heifetz Festival of Concerts returns for its 27th Anniversary Season in Summer 2023!
The diverse and ambitious set of concerts will feature our renowned faculty, special guests, and of course, our world class students—comprised this year of 163 students ranging in age from 7 to 26, representing 15 countries internationally and 22 US states. You can expect a robust schedule of 50+ concerts of vital, compelling music-making in the unique Heifetz style, from the flagship Stars of Tomorrow and the rollicking Heifetz Hootenannies to the masterful Celebrity Series and Sunday Matinees, presented in venues across Staunton and throughout the Shenandoah Valley.

Stars of Tomorrow
MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS–7:30 PM
The Institute’s signature series—a showcase for breathtaking performances by extraordinary Heifetz students in collaboration with our acclaimed Heifetz faculty pianists.
Chamber Music Showcase
THURSDAYS–7:30 PM
A new series devoted to cross-generational faculty and student collaborations exploring chamber masterworks, as well as a showcase for the students in the Heifetz Chamber Music Seminar.
Heifetz Hootenanny
SATURDAYS–7:30 PM
Our laid back Saturday series that features one-of-a-kind multi-genre mashups—all outdoors and under the Heifetz tent, and fueled by craft brews and local food artisans.
Sunday Matinees
SUNDAYS—2:00 PM
Our Sunday series features Heifetz students, faculty, alumni, and special guest artists in invariably memorable performances perfectly tailored for a summer afternoon.

FRIDAYS–6:30 PM HAPPY HOUR; 7:30 PM CONCERT
Experience the world-renowned artistry of our virtuosic Heifetz Institute faculty members in these carefully conceived programs showcasing top performers in the concert music world.

Our popular Free Friday series will be back at the Staunton Augusta Art Center. Enjoy thrilling solo and chamber music performances in the Center’s main gallery in historic downtown Staunton (reservations strongly recommended!)
