Madison Vest

Violinist
madison vest

Madison Vest, is a native of Charlottesville, VA and has already performed with a variety of orchestras and in a variety of venues. She has been a showcase performer at The Aspen Music Festival, The Summit Music Festival, The International Strings Institute Festival, the Encore performance stage in Hudson, Ohio, and The Walnut Hill Arts Festival in Seoul Korea.

Her recital performances have spanned venues from the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia to Carnegie Hall as part of the American Fine Arts Festival, as appearances with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, the Ocean City Pops, the Duquesne Chamber Orchestra, the Solon Philharmonic Orchestra and the Music City Orchestra.

Madi has collaborated with distinguished artists such as Aaron Rosand, Brian Lewis, Donald Weilerstein, Guillermo Figueroa, Soovin Kim, The Rembrandt Chamber Players, The Cavani String Quartet, The Ebene Quartet, the Liebesfreud Quartet, Clive Greensmith, John Perry, and such Heifetz Institute faculty as Mark Kaplan, Robert Vernon, and Matt Haimovitz.

Her teachers have included Victor Danchenko and Shmuel Ashkenasi of the Curtis Institute, Paul Kantor while attending CIM’s Young Artist Program, Clive Greensmith and Martin Beaver of the Colburn School, Miriam Fried and Paul Biss of The New England Conservatory, Robert Lipsett of the Colburn Conservatory of Music, and Patinka Kopec of the Manhattan School of Music.
