One of the most versatile and charismatic violinists today, Brian Lewis is an exceptionally dedicated and gifted performer. His acclaimed performances include concerto debuts in both New York’s Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. He has appeared internationally and throughout the U.S. with major orchestras as well as a featured recitalist. Mr. Lewis is committed to growing the legacies of the great pedagogues Dorothy DeLay and Dr. Shin’ichi Suzuki and currently holds the David and Mary Winton Green Chair in String Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Texas at Austin, serves as Artistic Director of the Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies at Juilliard, and is Artistic Director and faculty member of the Brian Lewis Young Artist Program in Ottawa, KS.
