About Esther

Korean-born Esther Lim has appeared as both a soloist and a collaborative pianist in concerts throughout the United States, Italy and Korea, at venues include Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Bruno Walter Auditorium, Teatro Sociale di Novafeltria and Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations. She has served as a collaborative pianist for the Sejong International Music festival at the Curtis Institute of Music, and the Charles Castleman String Quartet Program. She has recently appeared as a pianist in the international premiere of the award-winning “Barrier-Free” opera production, which is sponsored by The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms. Lim received her Master of Music both at Yonsei University in Korea and the Manhattan School of Music, where she also received a Professional Studies Certificate. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in collaborative piano under the tutelage of Heasook Rhee at MSM.
