Claudia Encinas

Claudia Encinas has a deeply rooted passion for classical music. Having started learning the violin at age 3 and eventually graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance, Encinas has dedicated herself to expanding the limits of classical music and creating as many opportunities as possible for young musicians of color to break into the field.

After obtaining an MS for Leadership in Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University and spending the last year and a half working at the New England Conservatory as the Large Ensemble Manager for the Preparatory School, Claudia will continue building upon her long-standing history with the Heifetz Institute, which dates back to 2015. In addition to her dedication to classical music, Claudia also enjoys finding ways to incorporate technology into the industry, playing video games, and annoying her cat, Cecilia.
